The MIT Sloan CIO Symposium is an annual one-day conference, held on the MIT campus, where CIOs and other senior business executives from around the world gather to explore how leading-edge academic research and innovative technologies can help address the practical challenges faced in today's changing economy.

THE INNOVATION SHOWCASE OVERVIEW

The Innovation Showcase will be open to the general community on May 18 from 6:15-8:00PM. Registration by May 16 is free , or $15 at the door.

The MIT Sloan CIO Symposium is proud to announce that the Finalists for the 2011 Innovation Showcase have been selected.  These 10 outstanding companies represent cutting edge B2B solutions that combine both value and innovation to Enterprise IT.

The Innovation Showcase Finalists closely complement the “digital” theme of this year’s Symposium: "Beyond the Crossroads - How will the CIO role evolve in the digital business world?"The Showcase connects CIO’s and Senior IT Executives with some of the most creative minds in the Enterprise IT space, allowing them to stay in touch with state-of-the-art thinking, while networking with other IT Executives in a relaxing and stimulating atmosphere.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Selling enterprise IT solutions to CIOs.

  • Potential impact on the top and bottom line.
  • Affinity with MIT.

Selection Process:

The 10 finalists were decided by the Innovation Showcase Organizing Team which includes MIT faculty and students, entrepreneurs, and early stage investors.
